SET A WINTER WONDERLAND: Christmastime is the perfect excuse for going a bit overboard with your decorating scheme but that doesnt mean you have to spend a lot of money in the process. Indulge your passion for extravagance by dressing an elegant table for a holiday party... and heres the fun part...with dime-store finds. Use Christmas trim alongside your prettiest dinnerware to dress up candles and stemware, or to serve as unique napkin rings. Then add ribbon, garland and sparkling
ornaments. Its amazing how far a touch of imagination, ribbon and glitter can go!

DREAM BY THE FIRE:
Candles are an easy and affordable way to light up your holiday decorating, and given their recent surge in popularity, there have never been more options available. Select an otherwise plain tabletop or mantel then add groupings of candles in a fun mix of colors, sizes and shapes to make the space more interesting. Try tapers, votives,
pillars and globes. Intersperse natu-
ral materials like pinecones, evergreens or hollybut take care to keep away from open flame. Also incorporate candles with stockings, garland and fruits...these are but a few of the many ideas for hearth-side décor.

LET IT GLOW:
Enhancing your pre-existing country-style light fixtures is a wonderful, inexpensive way to set a mood this holiday season. Wrap Christmas lights up the neck of a floor lamp or create a charming vignette by placing your favorite Santa collectibles around the base of a table lamp. Holiday entertaining becomes more festive when a table is lit overhead with a hanging light. String up some colorful ornaments, and complete your design with woodland décor twined into the chandelier. You can easily add fresh greens, grapevine and tassels to the fixture as well.
